In Japanese, “Mirai” means “future,” and I could never have imagined just how symbolic this name would be. Mirai is truly my future, and she is changing it, pushing me to become a better version of myself every day.
Her temperament captivated me almost from the moment she was born, and I made the decision that I wanted to train with Mirai in retriever sports.
Mirai’s hunting and working abilities have been recognized by many trainers both in Ukraine and across Europe. Despite the full-scale invasion, we continue to develop in this field, attending competitions and training sessions both in Ukraine and abroad. Mirai has received excellent evaluations and comments from judges, and in 2023, she took first place in the novice class at the first working test in Ukraine!
Mirai isn’t just great at work—she is also an incredible friend. Sometimes, her behavior reminds me of a child; other times, she seems like a mature woman.
She can sense my emotions with every fiber of her soul, and during the hardest period of my life, she provided me with incredible support. I have never met a dog so “human-like” in my life.

Mirai is the daughter of my dream girl, Terra,
and a wonderful Finnish boy, Poks.
POKS
Her father, STRONGLINES EMPTY POCKET, is a yellow male imported from the highly renowned Finnish kennel Stronglines. He is a Champion of Ukraine and a Best of Breed winner at a specialty show.
His sire is the famous American male SHALIMARS THE ANIMATOR, who won the Best of Breed title at the prestigious Westminster Dog Show in 2016 — the largest and most prestigious dog show in the U.S. His pedigree includes some of the most well-known American-bred Labrador sires, such as AM CH NIPNTUK HYSPIRE UNFORGETTABLE and SURE SHOT HYSPIRE IMPRESSIVE.
His dam, STRONGLINES QUISSY, is a Champion of Finland and a descendant of exceptional German and Finnish-bred Labradors.
TERRA
Mirai’s mother, STARLIGHT LAB’S COMES AND WINS,
is a descendant of two Ukrainian-bred dogs with Finnish-American bloodlines.
Her sire, RAINRIVER BLUE BLOOD, is a strong-boned chocolate male, a champion with a working diploma. He is the son of the highly renowned Finnish-born dog MALLORN’S CAPPUCCINO, who was the 2013 World Veteran Champion. His dam, HUNTER SUBMARINE HAPPY HOLLYDAY, is a champion and a worthy descendant of some of Poland’s most notable dogs.
Terra’s dam, HOLSTEP’S PRIMADONNA, is a striking black female from one of Ukraine’s oldest and most renowned kennels. A champion herself, she carries the legacy of outstanding Ukrainian-bred dogs and is also the granddaughter, great-granddaughter, and great-great-granddaughter of famous American sires such as SHADOWBROOKS BET ON IT, WISCOYS ROBIN, and WEATHERTOP EL NINO.

In the summer of 2025, we are expecting a litter of black and yellow Labrador puppies from our charming Mirai. This is a highly anticipated litter, and we are preparing for it with the utmost responsibility.
